Desktop size statue of Rodin's Nude Male Torso with exaggerated muscles. Museum quality replica in a good size for a bookshelf or entry table at 10 inches tall and 10.25 lbs.
This impressive male torso, with extremely defined muscles, was used for three figures in the famous Gates of Hell, of which the 'falling man' is the most eye catching. The conspicuously wedge-shaped protrusion served to mount the sculpture. Why Rodin retained this elements when the torso was later also exhibited independently is unknown.
